- 1 (25-ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain fat and stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning.
- Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce, then add half of the remaining sauce and sprinkle with half of the cheeses.
- Repeat layers with the remaining ravioli, sauce, and cheeses.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with plant-based crumbles. Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving for easier cutting.
