Description

A hearty casserole featuring layers of ravioli, cheese, and savory sauce, perfect for a comforting family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 (25-ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain fat and stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning.
  3. Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce, then add half of the remaining sauce and sprinkle with half of the cheeses.
  5. Repeat layers with the remaining ravioli, sauce, and cheeses.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with plant-based crumbles. Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving for easier cutting.
