- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until beef is browned; drain fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, then the cream cheese mixture, then the remaining spaghetti, and top with the meat sauce.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving to make it easier to cut. For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the meat sauce.
