This Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole is a hearty, cheesy baked dish combining spaghetti, ground beef, cream cheese, and marinara sauce for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until beef is browned; drain fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.
  6. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, then the cream cheese mixture, then the remaining spaghetti, and top with the meat sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving to make it easier to cut. For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the meat sauce.
