- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups finely crushed saltine crackers
- 1 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 6 large egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sugar, crushed crackers, coconut, and pecans.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then fold in the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold the egg white mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and set.
- Allow the pie to cool completely before serving.
Notes
