Description

This elegant flatbread combines sweet pears with tangy gorgonzola cheese for a perfect appetizer or light meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza dough
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. Brush the flatbread with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange the pear slices evenly over the flatbread.
  4. Sprinkle the gorgonzola cheese and walnuts on top.
  5. Drizzle with honey.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the flatbread is crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a sweeter version, add more honey or include some arugula for a peppery contrast.
