Description

A refreshing and flavorful pickled shrimp recipe that combines tangy flavors with fresh seafood.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink. Drain and let cool.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine vinegar, olive oil, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
  3. Step 3: Add the cooled shrimp to the mixture and stir to coat.
  4. Step 4: Cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For best results, use fresh shrimp and let it marinate longer for enhanced flavor.
