Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat sugar, oil, and eggs until smooth.
- Add buttermilk, food coloring, and vanilla to the wet mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While warm, carefully roll the cake with the parchment paper and let it cool.
- Once cooled, unroll and spread the cream cheese filling evenly.
- Re-roll the cake without the parchment and chill before serving.
