Description

A quick and flavorful stir fry featuring fresh shrimp, crisp asparagus, and earthy mushrooms, perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to turn pink.
  4. Stir in the asparagus and mushrooms, cooking for another 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring to coat everything evenly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes. Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
