- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to turn pink.
- Stir in the asparagus and mushrooms, cooking for another 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring to coat everything evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes. Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
