- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until meatballs are cooked through.
- Stir gently before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Serve with rice or as an appetizer.
