  • 4 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Layer the sliced tomatoes and onions in the pie crust.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled turkey bacon over the layers.
  5. In a bowl, mix cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, basil, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the pie.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use fresh, in-season tomatoes for the best flavor. This pie can be served warm or at room temperature.
