- 4 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and bake for 10 minutes.
- Layer the sliced tomatoes and onions in the pie crust.
- Sprinkle the crumbled turkey bacon over the layers.
- In a bowl, mix cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the pie.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use fresh, in-season tomatoes for the best flavor. This pie can be served warm or at room temperature.
