Description

Soft cinnamon rolls filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture and fresh strawberries, topped with a sweet glaze.


Ingredients

  • Dough: 1 cup warm milk, 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/3 cup unsalted butter (melted), 1 teaspoon salt, 2 large eggs, 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • Filling: 1 cup fresh strawberries (chopped), 8 oz cream cheese (softened), 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon, 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. 2. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, and eggs; mix well.
  3. 3. Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms; cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. 4. Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread with cream cheese mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon, brown sugar, and strawberries.
  5. 5. Roll up tightly and cut into 12 rolls; place in a greased baking dish.
  6. 6. Let rolls rise for another 30 minutes, then bake at 350Β°F for 20-25 minutes.
  7. 7. While baking, prepare glaze by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  8. 8. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve.

Notes

Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor; store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
