Description

Delicious bite-sized chicken pieces glazed with sweet maple syrup, perfect for a quick appetizer or main dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (for thickening)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces in the glaze and let marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  5. Stir in cornstarch mixed with a little water to thicken the sauce.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce coats the chicken.
  7. Remove from heat and serve hot.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the glaze. Ensure chicken is fully cooked to 165Β°F.
