Description

A refreshing and elegant summer appetizer featuring sweet watermelon, juicy peaches, tangy blackberries, and creamy burrata cheese, all drizzled with a balsamic honey reduction.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 ripe peaches, pitted and cut into cubes
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 8 oz burrata cheese (2 balls), torn into pieces
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Flaky sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and cook until thickened and syrupy, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Arrange watermelon cubes, peach cubes, and blackberries on a serving platter or individual plates.
  3. Tear or slice burrata into pieces and place on top of the fruit.
  4. Drizzle the balsamic honey reduction over the burrata and fruit.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a more intense flavor, let the balsamic honey reduction cool completely before drizzling. You can also add a pinch of black pepper to the reduction for a spicy twist.
