  • Author: Chef Lalybeth
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

A creamy, tangy whipped feta dip topped with sweet roasted strawberries and balsamic glaze. Perfect as an appetizer or brunch dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 ounces fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Fresh basil or mint for garnish
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling
  • Crostini or crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, toss strawberries with honey and balsamic vinegar. Roast for 15-20 minutes until softened and juices are released. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a food processor, combine crumbled feta, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, and black pepper. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.
  4. Transfer whipped feta to a serving bowl or plate. Spread evenly.
  5. Spoon roasted strawberries and their juices over the whipped feta.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with fresh basil or mint.
  7. Serve with crostini or crackers.

Notes

Make ahead: whip the feta up to 2 days in advance and refrigerate. Roast strawberries just before serving for best texture. For a dairy-free version, substitute vegan feta and cream cheese.
